Thailand: Taking advantage of the Easter and Ching Ming holidays, and a weeklong school break, we’re in Phang Nga for a good nine day stretch. During this trip life is busy yet carefree at our Thai beach retreat. It’s bloody hot, so the setting sun over the Andaman is a welcome respite from the heat that just seems to linger, and a beautiful treat to enjoy.
My son, and friends spend our days playing tennis, swimming, having water gun fights and big splash competitions, collecting hermit crabs, boogey boarding, flying kites, playing frisbee and building sand fortresses. My son likes looking for the hermit crabs and beetles the most. Usually I even find time for a siesta to manage through the balmy afternoons. The evenings we’ve been at home, we look for beetles and other creatures, and play mah jong. So far, I am winning.
Yesterday we headed in the direction toward Tegulcigalpa, according to the signpost, and ended up at the newish Splash Jungle water park on Phuket. My son had a splashing good time.
