It’s refreshing to receive good news and see a special organization continue to flouirsh. Here’s some recent good news from A New Day Cambodia (ANDC) which I want to pas on:-
One of the co-founders of ANDC, Joe O’Neil and his family, recently returned from a semi-annual visit to Phnom Penh and reports that four new children — two girls and two boys, ages 8 – 11 — have recently been brought under A New Day Cambodia’s umbrella. In total, ANDC now supports 100 children with lodging, nutrition and education, including English language classes. These children would otherwise need to scavenge the municipal dumps of Phnom Penh. With ANDC’s support, these kids now have a real opportunity for a productive life free of poverty — for themselves and their families.
Annette Jensen, ANDC’s Executive Director who lives in Phnom Penh, reports the kids are doing well, the English classes are brimming, and the children are learning about US geography as they follow my progress across America. Annette even asked whether I can cycle to a couple more states to help expand their understanding of geography!
I recently received a customized cycling jersey, which I had ordered months ago, which says on the back:
And on the front it says:
I am deeply honored to go the distance in support of A New Day Cambodia.
